Hello friends, today we will be discussing methods on how to install windows using Bootcamp on macbook pro?
Well, for productivity there is no rival worthy to compete with MacBook Pro. However, for us gamers windows is very vital. So, Intel -Based macs can install windows in a Dual Boot Method with Bootcamp.
First of all, you will need a Macbook pro (obviously)
and a windows 8.1 or above iso file
I insist that you install a genuine Windows 8.1 or above as it will create problems afterwards.
Also it is important to do a compatibility check before you decide to install windows on your Macbook Pro. My MBP requires Windows 8.1 or above. For more info about compatibility visit
I also insist that you backup your Macbook Pro before any change you want to make.
I will not be responsible for any Data Loss!
Now, let us begin
Step 1: Download your ISO ( Windows 8.1 or higher ) Check compatibility before installing.
Step 2: Open Boot camp
Hit Enter,
Now, click continue,
Since I have already installed windows clicking on next will show steps to restore space used up by Windows.
In your case, clicking next will show a dialog box to install windows.
Select your Iso, click on install windows 7 or later version.
Select space for windows partition.
I think 50 gigs or more is sufficient.
Now. click install or next.
Now, your Macbook will be downloading and installing required drivers and packages. Afterwards it will reboot.
When your window icon appears, your normal installation procedure will start.
Remember to click on the partition named 'BOOTCAMP' for installing windows. You might have to format this partition.
Afterwards , your windows will install very easily.
